Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of Nunbetter Communications, a messaging and notification service operated by Nunbetter Services LLC.
Service purpose
Nunbetter Communications enables authorized organizations to create groups and send informational and operational notifications by SMS and email. Examples include trip updates, schedule changes, reminders, staff communications, event information, and other organization notices.
SMS program terms
Program name: Nunbetter Communications.
Registered SMS sender: Nunbetter Services LLC.
Program description: Recipients who affirmatively opt in may receive informational and operational SMS messages from Nunbetter Services LLC through the Nunbetter Communications service. Organization and group names identify the updates requested by the recipient; they are not additional SMS senders.
SMS enrollment is optional and uses a separate consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. SMS consent is not a condition of joining a group when another participation method is available. Consent is granted only to Nunbetter Services LLC for the Nunbetter Communications SMS program and is not shared with or transferred to any organization, group, affiliate, other company, or unrelated marketing program.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies; during active trips, events, or other time-sensitive periods, up to 20 messages per day may be sent.
Message and data rates may apply.
STOP: Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. After opting out, no further campaign messages should be sent to that mobile number unless the recipient later completes a new valid opt-in.
HELP: Reply HELP for assistance or email support@nunbetterevents.com.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data, mobile phone numbers, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Authorized use
You may use the service only for lawful purposes and only for organizations, groups, recipients, and communications you are authorized to manage. Users may not impersonate others, send fraudulent or abusive communications, bypass security or consent controls, or access information without authorization.
Organization and administrator responsibilities
Organizations and administrators are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of content they submit to the platform and for using the platform only for recipients and groups they are authorized to manage. SMS delivery occurs through the Nunbetter Communications program operated by Nunbetter Services LLC and may be sent only to recipients who have affirmatively opted in to receive SMS from Nunbetter Services LLC through an approved enrollment flow and whose selected contact method has been verified when verification is required.
Organizations and administrators may not upload or designate a recipient as SMS opted-in merely because they possess the recipient's telephone number, may not transfer consent from another sender or group, and may not use the service for unsolicited or unrelated marketing.
No emergency-service guarantee
Nunbetter Communications is not a replacement for 911, emergency dispatch, or a life-safety alert system. SMS and email delivery can be delayed or fail because of carrier conditions, internet outages, provider failures, filtering, device settings, or other circumstances outside our control.
Accounts and security
Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access. We may require verification, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, rate limits, or other controls.
Scheduled messages
Scheduled messages remain subject to sender authorization and recipient status at the time of delivery. Messages may be withheld if authorization is revoked, the recipient is inactive, the selected channel is not opted in or verified, or another security or operational condition prevents delivery.
Third-party services
The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, telecommunications, SMS delivery, email delivery, authentication, and related infrastructure. Their outages or restrictions may affect service availability. Service providers may process information as necessary to provide these functions but are not authorized by Nunbetter Services LLC to use SMS opt-in data or messaging consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Acceptable content
Users may not send unlawful, deceptive, threatening, harassing, malicious, exploitative, unsolicited, or prohibited communications, or content that violates applicable messaging, privacy, anti-spam, carrier, telecommunications, or platform rules.
Student and minor information
Organizations using the service in connection with minors are responsible for determining and meeting applicable legal and policy obligations, including student-privacy and parental-consent requirements.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, carrier acceptance, inbox placement, or delivery of every message.
Changes
We may update these Terms or the service over time. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
