Privacy Policy

Nunbetter Services LLC operates the Nunbetter Communications messaging and notification service. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when organizations, administrators, staff, parents, guardians, recipients, and other authorized users use the service.
Information we collect
We may collect names, email addresses, mobile telephone numbers, organization and group membership, relationship information, communication preferences, SMS and email opt-in status, verification status, account roles, login and security information, IP addresses, device or browser information, audit records, and message-delivery records.
How we use information
We use information to enroll recipients, record communication preferences, verify contact methods, send requested informational and operational SMS and email notifications, manage groups and user permissions, process scheduled messages, maintain security and audit records, prevent abuse, troubleshoot delivery issues, and operate and improve the service.
SMS communications and consent
SMS participation is voluntary. When SMS is available, a recipient must affirmatively opt in by selecting a separate SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. A recipient may complete group enrollment without consenting to SMS when another participation method is available.
SMS messages are sent by Nunbetter Services LLC through the Nunbetter Communications SMS program. Messages are informational and operational and relate to the group the recipient chose to follow on the enrollment page. Message frequency varies; during active trips, events, or other time-sensitive periods, up to 20 messages per day may be sent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for assistance.
Nunbetter Services LLC is the sole business for which SMS consent is collected under this program. Organization and group names shown in the service identify the subject matter the recipient requested; they are not additional SMS senders and do not receive or inherit the recipient's SMS consent. SMS consent is not shared with or transferred to organizations, groups, affiliates, other companies, or unrelated messaging programs.
Service providers and message delivery
We use service providers for hosting, telecommunications, SMS delivery, email delivery, authentication, security, and related infrastructure. These providers may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide those services, protect the service, or comply with law. This operational processing does not authorize any provider to use mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent for its own marketing or promotional purposes.
Email communications
Email preferences are separate from SMS consent. Recipients may choose email communications where available, and email addresses may be verified before announcement delivery.
Organizations using the service
Organizations may create groups and invite recipients to enroll, and authorized administrators may provide informational content for delivery through the Nunbetter Communications service. For SMS communications, affirmative consent is collected by and for Nunbetter Services LLC through the Nunbetter Communications enrollment flow. Organizations, groups, and administrators do not receive or inherit that consent and may not bypass the opt-in process, transfer consent, or use recipient information for unrelated marketing through the platform.
Children and student information
The service may be used by organizations communicating about students or minors. The organization using the service is responsible for determining and meeting applicable student-privacy, parental-consent, records, and child-privacy requirements. The service should not be used to collect unnecessary sensitive information about minors.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, document communication preferences and consent, maintain security and audit history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Removed recipient records may remain in historical message, consent, and audit records where needed for accuracy and compliance.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, verification controls, audit logging, and account-security measures. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may decline SMS consent, choose another available communication channel, reply STOP to opt out of SMS, reply HELP for assistance, or contact the organization responsible for your group to request updates to your information or communication preferences.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are made.
